Canada got its name from an Indian word "Kanata".Canada Day is always on the 1st of July. On Canada day, people celebrate it by doing things like having a picnic and watching fireworks. Canada day is
known to Canadian people all around the world.
Thank you for posting about my home Canada, Potaua. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and have known Mr. Barks and his family for many years. I have met a few New Zealanders, and I think our societies have much in common. We celebrated Canada Day this year by gathering with friends and family to watch the fireworks display, and there were many outdoor music concerts around the city.
