Hi Potaua! My name is Heather Smith. I am a student in EDM310 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Al. I have been assigned to your blog this week for C4K (Comments for Kids). We read/watch posts from people all over the world. You can find my class blog HERE and my personal blog HERE! I really enjoyed watching your video interview portraying Kate Sheppard. After watching the video I wanted to learn more so I searched google for more information. I think you hit all the key points in your interview: she was the most prominent member of New Zealand's women's suffrage movement, she is on the 10 dollar note, and because of her- New Zealand was the first country (in the world) to grant women the right to vote! I really enjoyed how you added comical relief when asked why you were not on the 50 dollar note. I think that there should always be something like this to break up all the information for viewers. Good job on this assignment, and I hope to read or watch more in the future!
